The deal

Two decks supply eight Ace foundations, four reserves of thirteen cards, and eight face-up rows with the remaining 44 cards.

Playing the cards

Move a single exposed card from a row or reserve. Row building descends by rank without a suit restriction. Foundations also ignore suit in this implementation.

Castle of Indolence is part of The Ramparts · Castle games and is a variant of Beleaguered Castle. Eight foundations build regardless of suit, with four deep reserves supplying the tableau.
