Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

Solitaire.City is a free card-game site. No accounts, no logins, no payment information. This policy explains the limited data collected through standard web analytics and advertising services.

What data we collect

Solitaire.City does not collect personal information directly. We do not require accounts, email addresses, or payment information of any kind.

Third-party services embedded on the site — Google Analytics and Google AdSense — may collect information about your visit automatically. This includes your approximate location, browser type, device type, and pages viewed.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Solitaire.City itself stores only a minimal game-state cookie so your in-progress game persists if you accidentally close the tab.

Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies to measure traffic and serve relevant advertisements. You can manage or block these through your browser settings or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which games are popular, how visitors navigate the site, and where people come from. This data is anonymized and used only to improve the site experience.

Google’s privacy policy governs how Analytics data is processed: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google AdSense

Solitaire.City displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and browsing data to show you ads that are relevant to your interests. This is standard interest-based advertising.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising at adssettings.google.com. Ads will still appear but will not be personalized.

Third-party links

Some pages on the site link to external resources. Once you leave Solitaire.City, this privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
