Escalator rules
Pyramid Golf combines the triangle of Pyramid with the one-rank removal rule of Golf. It is also known as Escalator. All twenty-eight pyramid cards are visible, but only the seven along the bottom are initially uncovered. Removing a card can expose one or two cards in the row above.
One card from the remaining stock starts the waste. Move an exposed card there if its rank is immediately above or below the current top, ignoring suit. This version uses the wrapping rank sequence described for Escalator: Ace and King are adjacent. Draw one card from stock when you need a new starting rank. No card can be drawn again after the stock empties.

Plan for exposure
A legal move that releases a card above can be more valuable than an equal-rank move at the edge. Scan the two covering cards under a promising rank, then choose a chain that opens it before spending a stock draw. The visible deal makes this a planning puzzle rather than a hidden-card guess.
Tri Peaks also clears overlapping cards by adjacent rank, but its three peaks hide their upper cards. Read the Pyramid Golf strategy guide for examples.
Pyramid Golf is part of The Fairway · Golf & adjacency and is a variant of Golf. Twenty-eight cards form an overlapping face-up pyramid in place of seven columns.
