Päckchen at a glance
Päckchen is a one-deck German patience game in the open packers family. All cards are visible, and the goal is to build the four foundations through King.
The published description says thirteen packets of four after removing the four aces. That would require 56 cards, so this version uses twelve packets of four.
Plan your runs
Move a descending run together to uncover a buried card. Empty packets stay empty until the next redeal; a card needs a matching suit and rank to land on another packet.
