The deal

Eight staircase columns contain one through eight cards, with only each top card exposed; the remaining cards form a row-dealing stock.

Playing the cards

Build down by alternating color and move legal sequences. Any card or run can fill an empty column. Foundations build Ace to King by suit.

Move both decks to the eight foundations.

The deep right-hand columns contain the most hidden cards. A move that turns one of those cards face up often beats a shallow foundation play.

Milligan Harp is part of The Parade Ground · Miss Milligan & row dealers and is a variant of Miss Milligan. The opening columns contain one through eight cards, with only their tops face-up.

Miss Milligan — Double-deck patience with a weave reserve.
Milligan Yukon — Move any face-up group from a Harp-style staircase, regardless of its internal order.
Giant — A reserve-free Miss Milligan in which any card can fill an empty column.
Imperial Guards — Open Miss Milligan’s empty columns to any card while retaining the waive.
Little Milligan — A one-deck, seven-column version of Miss Milligan.
Millie — Play Miss Milligan’s row-dealing game without the waive reserve.
