What is Eagle’s Wing?
Eagle’s Wing (also known as Thirteen Down) is a Klondike-family patience game with round-the-corner foundations and a “trunk” reserve mechanic. The foundations do not start on Aces — instead, a base rank is set (similar to Canfield) and foundations build in wrapping order from that rank. The trunk refills empty tableau columns automatically from a reserve, and two redeals are allowed when the stock is exhausted.
Full rules
One 52-card deck. A base rank card goes to the first foundation; all four foundations start on this rank and build upward by suit with wraparound (e.g. base 7 → 7→8→9→10→J→Q→K→A→2→3→4→5→6). Tableau builds downward in alternating colors. A trunk reserve fills empty tableau columns automatically. The stock deals one card at a time. Two redeals allowed.
Round-the-corner foundations
Like Canfield, the shared base rank means each foundation builds through a full wrapping cycle. Cards just above the base rank are urgently needed first; cards just below the base rank are needed last. The auto-refill trunk (like Czarina’s auto-refill) removes the need to manage empty columns manually, but it also means you cannot “hold” an empty column — it fills immediately.
