Clock guide

Follow the rank to its hour.

Clock deals a standard deck into thirteen facedown four-card piles: twelve hours and a center King pile. The first center card is turned up. Each revealed card moves under its rank’s pile, then the top card there is turned up. Every move is determined by the card.

Read a chain

Ace leads to hour one, 2 to hour two, and so on through Queen at hour twelve; King leads to the center. For example, if the revealed card is a 7, move it below the seventh hour and turn up that pile’s new top. The next card sets the next destination. You cannot choose another hour for the 7.

The fourth revealed King ends the game. You win only if the other 48 cards have all been turned up by then. A replay of the same seed follows the same path; timing, Hint, and Undo do not change its result.

The Clock in the Rank Shuttles family has a similar thirteen-pile rank route but its own board and rules. Big Ben has a clock-shaped layout with choices about foundations and tableau. This page describes the forced-play Clock game at /clock.
