Rules
The four Aces start the upward foundations. The remaining 48 cards are dealt face up into thirteen columns: four of three cards and nine of four.
Only a column’s top card may move. Build tableau columns one rank up or down by suit.
Empty columns cannot be refilled.
Build four foundations upward from Ace and four downward from King, each by suit. The two foundations of a suit can meet at any rank.
Tips
- Use both directions of tableau building to uncover blocked cards.
- Start a King foundation when doing so exposes a useful card.
- Balance each suit’s upward and downward foundations so its middle cards remain playable.
