Read the opening layout

Twelve cards make two rows of six tableau piles. The thirteenth card sets the foundation base rank; 39 cards remain in stock.

The base rank appears four times. Bring the remaining three copies to empty foundations before covering them in the tableau.

Make each move count

Build tableau down in alternating colors, one card at a time. Each suit foundation begins at the base rank and builds upward around the corner; draw stock cards to a waste pile without redealing.

Alternating-color building creates short routes, but an empty pile is more flexible. Do not fill it until the next needed rank is visible.

Turn progress into a win

The waste has only one pass. Check whether its top card can join a foundation or free a tableau card before drawing again.

Complete all four suit foundations.
